Girl on the road........Sophie Phoenix December 11 Confessions of a shopaholicSo, I really had nothing to do those days. The result was, I cleaned and re-organized my walk-in closet, hoping to find out what I need to buy during X-mas. And then I realized that I don't need to go shopping for at least one year! December 01 My kind of ThanksgivingPuerto Rico is a nice place, well, at least in the Trump Gulf Resort. The island is a 3rd world country.
Now I have my own Thanksgiving ritual, that is, fly away to a nice warm sunny places, watch the Macy's NYC annual Parade, and fasting (caz will be back to China and better control my weight for now!), and a good book of course.
I really enjoy the Thanksgiving, w/ strangers... no stress, no work (well, I did some work this year)
And the Lost Symbol is not as good as the Da Vinci Code (at least the end is kind of, well, not tie the story together!) November 22 I am having too much fun!I am afraid I am really having too much fun right now! I am hardly do anything I am supposed to do, like studying and my dissertation!!!
BTW, New Moon is the biggest joke this year... Am I too old for the kids' movie, or this is really just such a movie that is not worth that much of attention? Harry Potter is thousands times better. How could that Rob some guy be compared to Brad Pitt??? He is such a JOKE! Well, glad there is still Jake Black, which makes this movie less waste of time.
And talking of vampires, Damon or Stephan in the Vampire Diary are so much cooler that this Rob guy=) That show is good, so far, and just look at all these beautiful people, very very nice!
And, since when Chuck Bass became the best guy in the world??? So weird, he is saving everyone nowadays, like a relationship with Blair will really be so magic?
Whatever, I think I am just keep on having fun. Have this new Sophie Kinsella novel to finish=) October 25 Last class (in Pitt, at least)Feel like it is a historical moment, at least I should really think so. The last exam for all my calss is over!
I swear that I am not going to take another class in PITT, well, at least for now that's what in my mind.
But the sad thing is now I don't know what to do without a class, ... empty, lost, not used to it.
Well, at least, still have my thesis and dissertation to go!!!

OK, next time the Nutcrack! What can I do??? My advisor is making me wait, so I should as well enjoy myself! July 13 Portland, MEA weekend getaway is very nice and proves to be very necessary too! Not only forget about the dissertation pain for a while but also feel good about there are still plenty guys think I am hot! Well, nothing happened, safey is priority!
Actually, the best thing is the islands and the sea, though the lobster is delicious to an extent...I should stop eating when I am travelling, instead, collecting!!!
Anyway, now have to be full charged to do my dissertation again! Get out as soon as possible--- my only goal nowadays! |
